How to Install jetty8 software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

jetty8 software package provides Java servlet engine and webserver, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install jetty8

jetty8 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the jetty8 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jetty8 *

You will get with jetty8 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
